Abu Dhabi Global Market Sets Filing Deadline for Economic Substance Annual Notification

The Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM) in the UAE has set a 30 June 2020 deadline for the submission of the Economic Substance Annual Notification in respect of the financial year ending 31 December 2019. All persons licensed to operate in the ADGM that conduct relevant activities are required to submit the Annual Notification under the UAE's Economic Substance Requirements, which apply for financial years commencing on or after 1 January 2019 ({News-2020-04-20/A/11-previous coverage}).
