On 23 February 2024, Albanian President Bajram Begaj promulgated the law for the ratification of the pending social security agreement with Croatia. The agreement, signed 2 October 2023, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force on the first day of the month after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
