Amending protocol to treaty between Russia and Cyprus initialled

On 16 April 2009,  Russia and Cyprus initialled an amending protocol to the income and capital tax treaty signed on 5 December 1998.

The most important provision of the amending protocol is the introduction of a new article on the exchange of information which will generally enable the Russian competent authorities to receive information from Cypriot banks, trusts and funds.
