Australian Parliament Considering Legislation for Public CbC Reporting and Other Measures

The Australian Parliament is considering the Treasury Laws Amendment (Responsible Buy Now Pay Later and Other Measures) Bill 2024. Among other things, the Bill provides for the introduction of new requirements for the publication of selected tax information on a Country-by-Country (CbC) basis, i.e., public CbC reporting.
