Bangladesh National Budget for 2023-24 Delivered Including Individual Income Tax Adjustments

The Bangladesh National Budget Speech for 2023-24 was delivered by Finance Minister Mustafa Kamal on 1 June 2023. Some of the main tax measures of the budget concern individual taxation, including:

• An increase in the tax-free income threshold of male taxpayers from BDT 300,000 to BDT 350,000, resulting in the following brackets/rates:
