On 19 October 2023, the Barbados Revenue Authority issued Policy Note 007/2023, which concerns an extension of the temporary reduction in the VAT rate on electricity supplies to households. Initially applied from 1 August 2022, the reduction in the VAT rate has been extended until 31 March 2024.
