According to a release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, officials from Belarus and Ghana met on 4 March 2026 to discuss the expansion of bilateral cooperation, including the conclusion of a tax treaty. Any resulting treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
