Belgium Extends Individual Income Tax Return Filing Deadline for Filing via a Chartered Accountant or Tax Advisor in 2022

Belgium's Federal Public Service (SPF) Finance has issued a release announcing that an agreement has been reached between the Minister of Finance and the professional institute of chartered accountants and tax advisers (ITAA) that includes a final extension of the deadline for the filing of individual income tax returns. The deadline for filing in 2022 (for 2021) via a chartered accountant or tax advisor was previously set to 30 September 2022 and has now been extended to 28 October 2022.
