Belgium Individual Income Tax Brackets for 2021

Belgium has set the individual income tax brackets and rates for the 2021 tax year (2022 assessment year). The standard brackets and rates are as follows:

• up to EUR - 13,540 - 25%
• over EUR 13,540 up to 23,900 - 40%
• over 23,900 up to 41,360 - 45%
• over EUR 41,360 - 50%

The brackets and rates used in calculating the effects of allowances are as follows:

• up to EUR 9,520 - 25%
• over EUR 9,520 up to 13,540 - 30%
• over EUR 13,540 up to 22,570 - 40%
• over EUR 22,570 up to 41,360 - 45%
