Brazil Further Suspends Collection Acts Due to COVID-19 and Extends Option for Regularization of Tax Debts

Brazil's Attorney General of the National Treasury has announced that the temporary suspension of collection acts due to the COVID-19 pandemic has been further extended to 31 August 2020. Originally extended by Ordinance No. 7.821 of 18 March 2020 by 90 days due to COVID-19, the suspension has been extended multiple times with the latest extension provided by Ordinance No. 18.176 of 30 July 2020.
