Brazil Provides Tax Debt Payment Relief for COVID-19

Brazil has published Ordinance No. 7.820 of 18 March 2020, which provides payment relief for outstanding federal tax debt for both individuals and companies in response to COVID-19. The Ordinance includes that taxpayers may make an initial payment equal to 1% of their federal tax debt, which may be paid in three installments in March, April, and May 2020.
