Bulgaria Revising Minimum and Maximum Social Security Contribution Bases

The Bulgarian parliament is considering the draft State Social Security Budget Bill for 2022. The draft bill includes measures to revise the different monthly minimum social security and health insurance contribution bases for employees depending on economic activity and increases the minimum bases for the self-employed and registered farmers to BGN 710 (up from BGN 650 and BGN 420, respectively).
