Burundi and Vietnam Agree to Advance Tax Treaty Negotiations

According to a release from Vietnam's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, officials from Burundi and Vietnam met to discuss bilateral relations and agreed on the need to push relevant agencies to advance the negotiation and signing of an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty would be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
