Cambodia Extends COVID-19 Relief for Affected Sectors

Cambodia's General Department of Taxation has reportedly issued Letter no. 2039 of 1 February 2022, announcing a further 6-month extension of measures to assist COVID-19-affected sectors. This includes the monthly tax exemption for registered hotels, guesthouses, restaurants, and tour agencies operating in specified cities and provinces and the minimum tax exemption for registered airline companies. Previously provided through December 2021, the exemptions are now provided through June 2022.
