On 28 November 2025, Cambodia's National Assembly (lower house of Parliament) approved the pending income tax treaties with Laos and the Philippines. The treaties, signed 4 December 2024 and 11 February 2025, respectively, are the first of their kind between Cambodia and the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
