The Canadian Department of Finance has announced consultations on Budget 2023 measures to grow the clean economy, close tax loopholes, and deliver tax relief. This includes, among other things, the Pillar 2 global minimum tax and the digital services tax. The deadline for submissions for all draft legislative proposals is 8 September 2023, except for submissions regarding the Pillar 2 global minimum tax, which is 29 September 2023.
