Croatian Government Approves Pending Tax Treaty with the U.S.

During its meeting on 30 July 2026, the Croatian government approved a draft bill for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with the United States. The treaty, signed 7 December 2022, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged. The draft bill also provides for the ratification of the amending protocol to the treaty, which was signed on 28 April 2026 and will enter into force along with the treaty.
