Croatian Parliament Approves Pending Tax Treaty with New Zealand

On 30 April 2026, the Croatian parliament approved the law for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with New Zealand. The treaty, signed 20 November 2025, is the first of its kind between the two countries. It will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply in respect of withholding taxes from the first day of the second month next following its entry into force.
