Denmark introduces new rules on taxation of dividends paid to resident and nonresident companies

From 1 January 2025, new Danish rules will apply to the taxation of resident and nonresident companies on dividends received from subsidiaries and portfolio companies.
Among other things, both resident and nonresident companies will be tax-exempt on dividends received from non-listed portfolio companies if certain conditions are satisfied.
