Ecuador Introduces New Schedule for Advance Income Tax Payments

On 5 July 2019, Ecuador published Executive Decree No. 806 of 25 June 2019 in the Official Gazette, which introduces a new schedule for advance income tax payments that includes additional payments per year. The change is meant to provide greater liquidity to taxpayers in different sectors and generate a cash flow benefit for taxpayers so that more resources can be injected into production.
