Ecuador National Assembly Approves Measures to Support Tourism Sector

Ecuador's National Assembly has announced the approval of the Law for the Strengthening of Tourism Activities and the Promotion of Employment on 1 April 2024. The measures of the law include:

• A reduction in the Foreign Exchange Exit Tax to 0% for airlines, both domestic and international;
• An additional 50% deduction for security expenses incurred by taxpayers in the National Tourism Registry;
