Ecuador and Quebec Concluded First Round of Social Security Negotiations

According to a post by the Ecuadorian Social Security Institute, the first round of negotiations for a social security agreement between Ecuador and Quebec, Canada was concluded on 19 March 2026. The agreement will be the first of its kind between the two jurisdictions and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
