Egypt Approves Pending Tax Treaty with Cyprus

On 4 March 2020, the Egyptian parliament approved the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with Cyprus. The treaty, signed 8 October 2019 ({News-2019-12-10/T/2-previous coverage}), will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
