Egypt Ratifies Pending Tax Treaty with Qatar

On 19 October 2023, Egypt published Decision No. 254 of 2023 in the Official Gazette, which provides for the ratification of the pending income tax treaty with Qatar. The treaty, signed 27 February 2023, is the first of its kind between the two countries and provides the following withholding tax rates:
