Estonia Approves DAC8 Crypto-Asset Reporting

The Estonian parliament has approved Bill 795 SE, which was sent to and approved by President Alar Karis on 7 April 2026. The legislation provides for the implementation of Council Directive (EU) 2023/2226 of 17 October 2023 (DAC8), including new reporting and due diligence obligations for crypto-asset service providers.
