Ethiopia and Kenya Looking to Conclude Tax Treaty

Officials from Ethiopia and Kenya met on 23 July 2026 to discuss bilateral relations, including the desire of both countries to conclude negotiations for an income tax treaty. Any resulting treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
