European Commission Proposes Head Office Tax System and Other Support for SMEs

The European Commission has announced a series of proposed initiatives to support SMEs. This includes, among other things, an optional Head Office Tax System, allowing SMEs operating cross-border through permanent establishments to interact only with the tax administration of the Head Office instead of having to comply with multiple tax systems.
