European Commission Putting Plans for Digital Levy on Hold

Following a meeting of EU Finance and Economy Ministers of the Eurogroup on 12 July 2021, which was attended by U.S. Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen, EU Commissioner for Economy Paolo Gentiloni announced that the European Commission will put its plans for the introduction of a digital levy on hold.
