European Commissioner Answers Question on BEFIT Initiative and the OECD Two-Pillar Solution

The European parliament has published an answer given by European Commissioner for Economy, Paolo Gentiloni, in response to a question on the Commission's plans for the Business in Europe: Framework for Income Taxation (BEFIT) initiative and the OECD's two-pillar solution. The BEFIT initiative was announced in May 2021 and is to be presented by 2023, providing a new framework for business taxation in the EU.
