Fiji and New Zealand Conclude Negotiations for New Tax Treaty

According to a release from the Fiji Revenue and Customs Service (FRCS), officials from Fiji and New Zealand concluded the final round of negotiations with the initialing of a new income tax treaty on 13 August 2026. The treaty must be signed and ratified before entering into force and, once in force and effective, will replace the 1976 tax treaty between the two countries.
