Finnish Health and Pension Insurance Contribution Rates for 2026

The Finnish Government has announced an increase in health insurance contributions in 2026 as approved by Government Decree STM/2025/127:

• Employers' health insurance contribution - 1.91% (up from 1.87% for 2025)
• The health insurance premium of the insured party:
  • the health care contribution on wage income and annual earnings - 1.10% (up from 1.06% for 2025); and
  • daily allowance contribution - 0.88%, 0.00% for income of less than EUR 17,255 (up from 0.84%, 0.00% for income of less than EUR…
