Finnish Ministry of Finance Submits 2026 State Budget to Parliament

The Finnish Ministry of Finance has announced the submission of the 2026 State Budget to parliament on 22 September 2025. The Ministry also published a summary of the tax changes for 2026, including:

• The revision of the tax brackets/rates on earned income, with a reduction in the highest marginal rate to approximately 52%, and the state income tax brackets/rates set as follows:
  • EUR 0 to 22,000 - 12.64%
  • EUR 22,000 to 32,600 - 19.00%
  • EUR 32,600 to 40,100 - 30.25%
  • EUR 40,100 to 52,100 - 33.25…
