Timeline of the e-invoicing Act

The Finnish Government announced the e-invoicing Act (241/2019) on 22 February 2019 to implement the European Standard 2014/55/EU on electronic invoicing. According to the Act, all invoices to the public entities are mandatory to comply with the EU norm, and companies with an annual turnover of more than EUR 10.000 have the right to request their suppliers to send e-invoices.
