France Strengthening COVID-19 Support Measures for Catering, Tourism, Events, and Other Sectors and Denying Support in Relation to Tax Havens

The French government has issued a release announcing its decision to maintain and strengthen COVID-19 support measures for the catering, tourism, events, sport and culture sectors. This includes that for micro (very small), small, and medium-sized enterprises in these sectors, an exemption from social security contributions will apply during the closure period, from March to June 2020.
