Greece Extends Individual Tax Return Deadline for Claiming 4% Discount

The Greek Ministry of Finance has announced a two-week extension for individual taxpayers to claim a discount (deduction) for paying their annual income tax due for 2025 in full by 31 July 2026, instead of paying in installments. As previously reported, the following discounts are provided if paid in full:

• 4% if the return is submitted by 30 April;
• 3% if the return is submitted by 15 June; and
• 2% if the return is submitted by 15 July.
