Guernsey Policy & Resources Committee Formally Publishes Tax Review

The Guernsey Government has issued a release announcing the formal publication of the Tax Review by the Policy & Resources Committee on 20 August 2021. As previously reported, three options have been developed as part of the Tax Review for increasing tax revenue considering immediate and long-term financial pressures, including the possible application of an income-based health tax at a rate of 3%, a Goods and Services Tax (GST) at rates of 5% or 8%, and other changes.
