Hong Kong Publishes GloBE Information Return Schema and User Guides

The Hong Kong Inland Revenue Department has updated its guidance page on Global minimum tax and Hong Kong minimum top-up tax for multinational enterprise groups, with the publication of the GloBE Information Return (GIR) XML Schema and User Guides. It is also provided that a Part 4AA entity can now prepare and submit the GIR data file for testing purposes. A Part 4AA entity refers to a member of an MNE group that falls within the scope of the global minimum tax rules in Hong Kong.
