India to Delay GST Implementation to 1 July 2017

According to Finance Minister Arun Jaitley, the Indian government is planning to implement the new Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime from 1 July 2017 instead of 1 April 2017 as originally planned ({News-2016-11-07/A/2- previous coverage}).
