Ireland Launches Public Consultation on Transfer Pricing Rules

Ireland's Department of Finance has launched a public consultation on amendments to the country's transfer pricing regime to bring it in line with international best practices developed by the OECD. This includes:

• Incorporation of the OECD 2017 Transfer Pricing Guidelines into Irish legislation;
• Removal of the domestic transfer pricing exemption (grandfathering) for pre-July 2010 arrangements with effect from 1 January 2020;
