Ireland Launches Public Consultation on R&D Tax Credit and the Knowledge Development Box

Ireland's Department of Finance has launched a public consultation on the Research & Development (R&D) Tax Credit and the Knowledge Development Box (KDB). The consultation is being held as part of a review to consider the potential impacts of the agreement reached at the OECD/G20 Inclusive Framework on BEPS on the R&D tax credit and the KDB, particularly the Pillar 2 global anti-base erosion (GloBE) rules. The deadline for comments is 30 May 2022.
