Italy Publishes New Decree on Implementing Rules for the Patent Box Regime

On 6 February 2018, Italy published the Ministerial Decree of 28 November 2017 in the Official Gazette. The Decree updates and replaces the prior decree on the implementing rules for Italy's patent box regime, which provides a 50% tax exemption for qualifying income from qualifying IP (30% and 40% for 2015 and 2016).
