On 20 June 2024, Kazakh Prime Minister Oljas Bektenov signed the decree authorizing the Minister of Finance to sign an income and capital tax treaty with Oman. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be signed and ratified before entering into force. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
