On 10 November 2023, Kazakhstan Prime Minister Alikhan Smailov signed the decree authorizing the signing of an income and capital tax treaty with Oman. The treaty will be the first of its kind between the two countries and must be signed and ratified before entering into force. Details of the treaty will be published once available.
