On 9 February 2026, Kazakhstan President Kasym-Zhomart Tokayev signed the law for the ratification of the pending pension agreement with Mongolia. The agreement, signed 29 October 2024, is the first of its kind between the two countries and will enter into force after the ratification instruments are exchanged.
