Kazakhstan Senate Approves Pending Tax Treaty with Oman

According to a release from the Kazakhstan Senate (upper house of parliament), the pending income and capital tax treaty with Oman was approved on 28 May 2026. The treaty, signed 29 May 2025, is the first of its kind between the two countries. It will enter into force once the ratification instruments are exchanged and will apply from 1 January of the year following its entry into force.
