On 19 November 2024, Kyrgyzstan's Cabinet of Ministers authorized the Minister of Economy and Commerce to sign an amending protocol to the 2012 income and capital tax treaty with South Korea. The protocol will be the first to amend the treaty and must be finalized, signed, and ratified before entering into force.
