Malaysia's Companies Act 2016 in Force

Malaysia's Companies Act 2016 entered into force and effect on 31 January 2017. The Act, passed by parliament in April 2016, replaces the Companies Act 1965 and includes a number of changes meant to simplify and improve company incorporation and management in Malaysia overall.
