Maldives Publishes Act Repealing Stamp Duty

The Maldives Inland Revenue Authority (MIRA) has published the Revenue Stamp Act (Repeal) Act (Law no. 13/2021), which was ratified by the president and published in the Official Gazette on 11 July 2021. The Act provides for the repeal of the Revenue Stamp Act (Law no. 4/70) with effect from the date of publication (11 July 2021).
