Malta Publishes Research and Development (Amendment) Regulations

Malta has published Legal Notice No. 433 in the Official Gazette, which contains the Research and Development (Amendment) Regulations, 2020. The amendment regulations replace regulation 5 of the Research and Development Regulations, 2020 to provide that:

• The Maltese Enterprise Corporation (MEC) may provide additional assistance of up to 25% of eligible costs if the undertaking carries out an industrial research project; and
