Moldova Publishes Law Introducing New Beneficial Ownership Disclosure Requirements

On 5 November 2021, Moldova published Law No. 150 of 28 October 2021, which amends Law No. 220/2007 on state registration of legal entities and individual entrepreneurs for the introduction of new beneficial ownership disclosure requirements. This includes the amendment of the required documentation for state registration to include the submission of information on beneficial owners in accordance with Law No. 308/2017 on preventing and combating money laundering and terrorist financing.
